How to get to Bandung (and return) safely from Cibubur

As I told before, I moved to a place that called ‘middle-of-nowhere’ in this blog, but, to be precise, the place is situated near Mr. SBY’s private house and included in Paspampres’ security area.

The main problem is there are not many choices of public transportation to be used from and Bandung in this area. I write this review to help people decide what transportation that should be used. All the review are based on my own opinion and I’m not being paid from any institution to write this review

So, let the posting begin!

Review:

This is the first ever public transportation I’ve ever tried when visit ‘middle-of-nowhere’. This bus is always departs on time, no matter how much the passenger in it. The crews are helpful, too. The good part of this bus is they don’t do transit at the usual place outside the route, like other buses do to pick up passenger, such as Kampung Rambutan, UKI, and Padalarang. They just go straight forward to the destination and do transit if the place is in the route, like in Pasirkoja, Kopo, and around Cibubur🙂

Sadly, you need extra time if you want to use this bus from Northern Dago, and the bus sometimes not available at evening.

2. XTrans Shuttle

Type : Shuttle car (or ‘travel’) with orange-or-brown color

Cibubur : all around Jalan Transyogi between Raffles Hills and Cibubur Junction

Review:

Based on my personal experience with any shuttle car, I’ll choose xtrans because of their excellent service, and if there are no cititrans shuttle car at the destination. Their route is near to my place in Bandung and easy to follow, the staffs are also helpful, either in Bandung or Jakarta

The bad part is, their place in Cibubur is very far from my house.

Cibubur : Jatiasih, Komplek Vila Nusa Indah 1 2 3 5, Komplek Bumi Mutiara, Sakura Residence 1 2, Kota Wisata, Legenda Wisata, Komplek Citra, Kranggan, and people that don’t want to feel the Transyogi’s traffic jam🙂

Review:

This company is known for their cheapest prices if compared with other company with same business. Nowadays their service are good and the customer services are helpful. Sadly they don’t provide bottled mineral water and they have long transit time (about half to one hour) in KM 57 checkpoint, either the paseengers want to use it or not, and I think it quite wasting time.

Facilities : Air-conditioned, free cup mineral water, quite big seat if compared with xtrans

Review:

The good thing about this shuttle car is the big seat and free – flow drinking water. But there are some bad side too. Although they have many destination around Jakarta and Java Island if compared with other shuttle car company, I’m not recommending you to use this shuttle car. Their service are lousy and sometimes there are different information between the customer service and the staff at the office.

If you want to use taxi in Bandung, like Bluebird etc, after arrive from Jakarta, I’m not recommend you to use this shuttle car because their arrival point is far from other taxis station and you are forced to use their official taxi : Cipaganti Taxi.

That’s the review based on my own experience, the choice is yours.
